Dried Blue Pea Flowers, also known as Blue Butterfly tea, are derived from a vine primarily cultivated in Thailand. Our special blend is enhanced with lemon verbena, dried lemon, and natural lemon flavor, creating a vivid blue herbal tea with a refreshing citrus note when steeped for 5-8 minutes. Known for its medicinal properties, this tea is prepared by steeping 1 teaspoon per 8 oz cup and can be enjoyed hot or iced. It’s also perfect for crafting entertaining cocktails; adding lemon or lime juice changes the color to a stunning purple. Try it in our signature Purple Martini, as pictured above.
Ingredients– Blue Pea flowers, lemon verbena leaves, candied pineapple pieces, sour apple pieces, lemon granules, freeze-dried lemon peel, freeze-dried red currants

Super interesting! The tea is very blue, so that is fun! It tastes a bit like a freshly mown lawn on a summer day, but with a citrus end that keeps it from tasting like actually eating grass. Good with honey or other sweetner. Not for milk. I wouldn’t add this to my regular rotation, but it is definitely fun for a small cup of unusual tea. I’d get this if I were hosting a tea party with friends, in addition to other more traditional tea flavors.
